| The Professional Renewal Center® offers intensive outpatient assessment, consultation and
treatment services in a supportive and thought provoking
setting. Structured learning and growth promoting opportunities
are provided Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
While at PRC®, clients reside in off-site, convenient locations
so that the extension of a therapeutic and collegial community
can extend into the evenings and weekends. Our
treatment philosophy is based on the belief that successful
outcomes to life’s difficulties must take into
account the complexity and ecology of human life. It
assumes that treatment programs must address, in an
integrated manner, biological issues, addiction issues,
psychodynamic conflicts, family and social relationships,
and professionals' difficulties in meeting and mastering
life's challenges. Years of experience have helped us
to develop a therapeutic setting that assists professionals
and their families to clearly identify problems and
solutions. At the outset of treatment, a thorough diagnostic
work-up is created to identify biological, psychological,
and social factors contributing to problems. We then
devise a comprehensive treatment plan that outlines
therapeutic strategies for each identified problem or
goal. Working with the PRC® staff, each client participates
in the refinement of this treatment plan and the prioritization
of treatment strategies and goals. After the client’s
primary stage of treatment has been completed, ongoing
intermittent modes of treatment, as well as partial
day services can be made available when deemed to be
in the best interest of the client.
