  3. Target Audience: The activity is designed to provide knowledge and insight into the importance of clear communication in the healthcare environment.

    The cost is $650 for the one day course(includes continental breakfast, lunch, and CME fees).

    A deposit of $300 is required to confirm a space in the course. The balance may be paid at the course. Please make checks payable to PRC.

    Course enrollment is limited to approximately 12 participants. Please call 785-842-9772 and speak to Erica Herrman or Nathaniel Williams to enroll.

    *A phone interview with Betsy Williams PhD MPH. is required prior to confirmation of registration.*

    Rush University Medical Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Rush University Medical Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with their participation in the activity.

  7. Disclosure Policy

    It is the policy of Rush University Medical Center Office of Continuing Medical Education to ensure that its CME activities are independent, free of commercial bias and beyond the control of persons or organizations with an economic interest in influencing the content of CME. Everyone who is in a position to control the content of an educational activity must disclose all relevant financial relationships with any commercial interest (including but not limited to pharmaceutical companies, biomedical device manufacturers, or other corporations whose products or services are related to the subject matter of the presentation topic) within the preceding 12 months. If there are relationships that create a conflict of interest, these must be resolved with the CME Course Director in consultation with the Office of Continuing Medical Education prior to the participation of the faculty member in the development of content.

  8. Cancellation Policy

    If you must cancel your registration, PRC will refund your registration fee, less $195.00, provided you notify us 15 days prior to the course. No refunds will be made after that time. Exceptions will be made for justifiable emergencies. Registration may be transferred to another course date. In the event of cancellation or rescheduling of this CME activity due to unforeseen circumstances, PRC will refund registration fees in full. PRC is not responsible for non-transferable, non-refundable airline tickets or hotel accommodations purchased in connection with attendance at this CME activity
